Meet Rhea

Hey, I’m Rhea!

I tutor English to primary and secondary aged students.

I tutor because I love helping people to overcome their challenges with learning! I truly think that showing children that learning can be a fun and engaging experience really helps them to want to learn more and brings out the best in them.

What is fun and engaging is different for every student, so I believe in effective communication with the student and providing them with a space where we can work together to find out what works best for them.

And some other important questions…

  • What’s your background? I achieved Grade 9 in both English Literature and Language at GCSE, and went on to study Maths, Psychology and Religious Studies at A level but my love for English has always stuck with me! I am now finishing my degree in Psychology at Cardiff University, and hope to explore teaching and the field of educational psychology in the future.
  • What’s in your fridge? currently have blueberries, yoghurt and vegetables (luckily, I’m writing this at a time where I am motivated to eat healthily, so my fridge is stocked up with healthy things!)
  • What are your hobbies? I really enjoy reading, yoga, meditating and binging Netflix every now and then!
  • What is a fun fact about you? I have a brown belt in karate and I’m from a tiny island near Madagascar called Mauritius!
